October through November

It has been a long time since I have posted anything worthwhile! My have we been busy, in a very un-busy way. This is going to be a long Post... So be ready for it!

*Just a little Side Note... New Moon comes out this Thursday and I am so, so excited. I re-read the book (for probably the 3rd or 4th time), and I am totally ready to see the movie now!

We celebrated out 2nd Anniversary on Saturday night! We had a really fun day up in Salt Lake. We started off with our annual Mrs. Backers cookies (and we threw in a mini cupcake in celebration of our wedding.) We decided to go to Mrs. Backers every anniversary, because that is where we got our cupcakes for our wedding, so fun that we get fresh wedding cake every year. After we had a few cookies in the blizzard (What was the deal with the Complete Whiteout on our way to SLC?!), ran through the snow holding my coat over my head since I didn't have a hood or an umbrella to the temple. After the temple we went over to Gateway and did a little shopping, then headed to The Melting Pot. Dinner was so delicious!! I think I am still full from it! The dessert made the whole dinner, s'mores chocolate dipped in everything. I swear I could dip the whole world in chocolate!

The lobster was amazing! We loved, loved it!

The famous cookies! No worries that they cost like $1.75 each!!! We bought 15...

Bryce with Ammie and Asher

Shawn and JaNae took us to the Grizzly game and out to dinner at Rodizio Grill for another delicious dinner. The hockey game was really fun. Its still so weird to me that I have grown up my whole life watching hockey. I guarantee that 85% of the population in Utah has never seen a hockey game in real life. The fighting was my favorite part of the game... it makes it so much more interesting when a fight breaks out!

I made this cute sign at our Super Saturday, and of course I had to add the Kelly touch to it with the glitter. It is so darling, I love having new Christmas decorations!

Now we're going way back to Halloween so I can show you how cute some of our little nephews are! This is Max/ Sulley from Monsters Inc. It was the cutest dang thing ever!!

I love this little gnome, Cali was one too, but she wanted to wear a princess dress during the day, so she wasn't in her real costume yet.

My mom forced us to go to a Young Ambassadors show on Halloween Day at Orem High. Seeing as this was our High School and they are going to be tearing it down, Jen and I decided to take some pictures in the "lounge," We had to inform Ashley and Morgan that this was where all the cool kids hung out : ) But seriously ; )

She'll make a great Tiger some day!

I was at my parents the other night playing with Cali and Cole in the toy room, and they were playing in the little kitchen making me food. It was so cute cause they both kept calling me "mom". Cole is FINALLY starting to talk, so he calls whoever he wants "mom," they were both being so good, no screaming or crying just two little kids playing in the kitchen. So.. that had nothing to do with these pictures except these were the same night. But my mom and I got these hats for Cole for Christmas (everything we have bought them for Christmas has already been given to them... no big deal), so we wanted to try them on him. Then pappa took them a walk so we put one on Cali as well. She is wearing my mom's glasses from when she was little too.

My dad said the whole walk Cali followed behind them about 5 feet just eating her popcorn. Totally happy that is was freezing and she had no coat on... as long as she had her hat and her popcorn!

October update

Presenting:

Dora & Diego
I did it! I finally got Bryce to dress up! And I must say... I look good with a Black bob. Nobody really got our costumes... till they saw our backpacks (mine was a Dora one and Bryce's was a diego one), but once they got it they all really liked it. We had to dress up for our ward's primary halloween party and my class taught the kids the Thriller dance for about an hour and a half. I think I am going to be really sore tomorrow, thats the most exercise I have had in a long time!!!

Pumpkin Carving with Ashley, Nate and Kayley

"Uhhh... Bryce, did I do something wrong?"
Totally fixed it with toothpicks!!!
And Bryce's is Duke University's logo (he loves the blue devils!)

I taught a cupcake class to all the Young Women last week. The owl ones are my favorite, isn't it DARLING?!
We went to the cabin again with Morgan and Chris a few weeks ago. I had a break from work and just had to get out of here! Working everyday is really stressful and hard! I never knew!

The boys grew out these awesome handal-bar stashes. Totally nasty!
Oh, and they went and bought bebe guns that kept them busy. They even killed a squirrel with them when they strapped them on their backs and paddled across the lake in a canoe to go hunting. Lovely!
I think Bryce found a new Holster for his gun.

Even we got a little fun out of the guns. They set up cans for us to shoot... It was fun!
Felting is a big project. We have all the felting necessities strewn out between three huge bags that have to be taken up to the cabin every time we go. And as you can see, it is not a hobby that is neat and tidy.

I got Morgan totally hooked to Felting, she just loved jabbing the needle into those little bodies.

You may remember me talking about felting before... Well here it is. I learned to felt last year about this time and I made myself a nativity. Everyone that saw it LOVED it... so I decided to make 3 sets to sell on Etsy. If you know anyone that is interested let me know. They are adorable in person, these pictures just don't do them justice!

I just love Halloween!

A little Halloween Flashback...

Kylie and Me... We were colors... Pink and Blue

This was a really fun Halloween! Kylie, Me, Morgan, and Jessica

I had a halloween dinner for us and dates, so the costumes were a little more low key

This was in Culinary School, I had the most awesome Geisha costume. Sox and Sandals, and all

We just love dressing up!
(Notice Bryce isn't in any of these pictures... he doesn't like dressing up so much)

I have the funniest video of this little superman dancing, but I can't get it to download! Hopefully I can figure it out, because you will dye laughing!

Goodbye to Summer... Hello to football

I got lucky and got Bryce to go to the Florida State, BYU game even though he wanted to watch it at home. His FAVORITE team is Florida State, so he wore his Florida shirt to school on Friday and I got him to wear BYU stuff to the game on Saturday. He actually admitted that he wanted us to win, but sadly that didn't turn out in our favor.

Morgan finally came home! For 1 day... We went and meet them for dinner and ice cream before they drove off to Iowa. I can't wait till she comes back so I have a friend again!!!
